Getting started with the BDI
From data-sharing challenges to practical application
Would you like to share data more easily and securely with suppliers, customers or other supply chain partners? Make up-to-date information available without losing control over your own data? Or expand digital collaboration to include new parties more easily?
The BDI can help you achieve this. You don’t need to start with the technology. Start with a specific data-sharing challenge: what information is needed, which parties are involved, and how can they collaborate more efficiently in a trusted way?
From exploration to scaling up
Together, we can explore where the BDI can add value and what is needed to make it happen. This can start with an initial exploration and develop into a use case, pilot or broader implementation.
For applications in logistics supply chains in freight transport, support may be available through the Digital Infrastructure for Logistics (DIL) programme to help develop, implement and scale up the BDI. Depending on the specific challenge, this support may include knowledge, expertise and financial assistance. Connekt can also provide support by bringing together stakeholders, knowledge and practical experience.
