New dates training BDI-fundamentals: September 18 | December 9

The Digital Infrastructure Logistics (DIL) program will organize the 'BDI Fundamentals' training two more times in 2025, covering the principles of the Basic Data Infrastructure (BDI). The sessions will take place on September 18 and December 9 2025. In just a half day, IT professionals will learn the fundamentals of this agreements framework. Participation is free of charge.
What does the training cover?
- Federated data sharing within ‘data spaces’: Laurens Lapré (BDI architect) discusses current developments in federated data sharing.
- Applications of BDI in logistics: Ewout Bouwman (BDI lead architect) explains how BDI can be applied in logistics and outlines the architectural themes involved.
- Software engineering with BDI: Joost Diepenmaat (BDI software engineer) demonstrates what is needed to implement BDI in software, using a real-world case.
- Business models and opportunities for IT providers: Potential business models for IT providers are explored through a practical case study.
